Kay Kenyon writes fantasy and science fiction. Books, mostly, although she has been known to write a short story or two—but even those are Long. She is now working on her 21st novel, a fantasy. She has been a finalist for the Philip K. Dick Award and several others and recently had a trilogy optioned for film (The Dark Talents). Her most recent series is The Arisen Worlds, an epic fantasy. She often teaches at writing at conferences and at The Write on the River organization in Wenatchee WA which she helped found.
