Author Kip Meyerhoff started writing at an early age. Inspired by his paternal grandmother, who gave him books for birthdays and Christmas, and by his love of reading, he wrote his first novel, which was ultimately rejected by publishers and allowed to yellow with age in closets from coast to coast. After two tours in the Army and 20 years in law enforcement and another ten as a licensed private investigator, Kip turned his twenty years as a restrauntuer into his first self-published book, "Cooking with Kip, A Cook's Memoir." This led to writing a cooking column for the River Times as well as serialized short stories and articles for regional outlets. A writing seminar preached, "Write what you know!" and Kip knew a lot. Thus was born the Los Angeles PI Rollo Michaels series.
