Growing up, I found my haven among the shelves of libraries, where I would borrow and devour books with an insatiable appetite. Books have been my constant companions for as long as I can remember, shaping my imagination and fueling my love for storytelling. As a child, I would borrow cassette tapes and listen to them on my radio at home, a ritual that brought stories to life in a unique way. My school library was a treasure trove, and I seized every opportunity to sit in its quiet corners, losing myself in the pages of philosophical texts, the Guinness World Records, anything by Jacqueline Wilson, and "A Series of Unfortunate Events" by Lemony Snicket, narrated by the captivating Tim Curry. These stories stayed with me, and many of the books from my childhood still hold a cherished place on my shelves today. Visits to my grandmother's house were another source of literary delight, where I would immerse myself in whatever books I could find, including collections of short stories and poems. Writing stories at school was an activity I eagerly anticipated, a chance to craft my own worlds and characters inspired by the likes of Roald Dahl's "The Witches," one of my all-time favorites. I fondly recall the joy of slipping on those chunky, coiled cord headphones and getting lost in the tales they told. Over the years, my collection of books grew, reflecting my evolving tastes and enduring passion for reading. Today, my love for horror, mystery and thriller novels has led me to the works of Stephen King and other contemporary authors. I also relish the dramatized versions of "Alien" on Audible and indulge in the occasional romance novel. Writing has always been my true calling, a natural extension of my lifelong affair with books. Through my stories, I aim to capture the same magic and wonder that captivated me as a young reader, sharing it with others and inspiring a new generation of book lovers.
