Liz Leonard has spent the last 20 years finding freedom through the journey of entrepreneurship. She is the owner of multiple businesses as well as a Franchise Advisor, published author, renowned speaker, and proud wife and mother. Liz spent decades climbing the corporate ladder, only to be a casualty of lay-offs. This moment marked a turning point where she and her family decided to take a bolder path—one that would ultimately reveal her true calling of helping others make bold, life-changing career moves that offer financial freedom and fulfillment. Leaving her corporate career behind, she saw an opportunity gap in the childcare market. Drawing on her background in childhood education, Liz and her husband founded Parkside Children’s Learning Center, a business they were able to sell at a profit just 3 years later. After a brief return to the corporate world—a quick sidetrack that confirmed Liz’s passion for entrepreneurial pursuits—she pivoted to franchise ownership. This route allowed her access to support, established marketing systems, and relatively quick success. Soon, Liz was the owner of multiple franchises and real estate investments. She founded her own franchise advisory business in 2014 and has spent the last decade helping others match with the right-fit business for their lifestyle and personality. Liz is an active member of GoBundance Women, International Franchise Professionals Group, and the author of Let's Talk Franchising magazine as well as her debut book Your Franchise Fast Pass: Your Guide to Finding Your Ideal Business. She enjoys spending well-earned time with her family and pets. As a Mainer, she loves exploring the coastline by boat, hiking, traveling, and being outdoors whenever possible.
