Lynne Cockrum-Murphy, Ed.D., L.I.S.A.C., is an intuitive consultant, spiritual teacher, author and addictions counselor. She accesses Divine higher guidance to assist those seeking change.

She is also a licensed Substance Abuse Counselor and provided services in a drug treatment center for five years. Lynne teaches meditation and has led group meditations and taught throughout the northwest, southwest, and Caribbean.
Lynne received her doctorate in educational administration from Arizona State University and has masters and bachelor’s degrees in special education. She was also an adjunct professor for Northern Arizona University College of Education for fifteen years. She is retired from teaching special education and administration in the public schools after thirty years. She now writes and consults. She resides in Arizona with her husband and cats.
Lynne's second in the A Journey with Matityahu Book 2 God Consciousness will be available in late December 2020. In the story, Daniyyel, now a married man, all of twenty years of age, heads out on another life changing journey with Matityahu. They meet with the Essenes, a Jewish sect who preserve and disseminate scared knowledge. They invite Daniyyel to study with them. His wife, Simone encourages Daniyyel’s adventure and opportunity. She stays home, her hands full since her grieving brother has come to stay with them. Matityahu and Daniyyel’s journey of service to those in need, illustrates a path to living in God consciousness.
Lynne's first work of fiction, A Journey with Matityahu Book 1 Awakening is a delight, uplifting, unexpected story. Daniyyel and Matityahu set out on the road expecting adventure. Daniyyel observes miracles in his friend’s life and subsequently tries for himself Matityahu’s miraculous practices which awakens Daniyyel’s spiritual nature. The journey portrays passage to a joyous Oneness – accessible to everyone.
Lynne’s third book, Unfolding the Mystery of Self – We Are Never Alone (2017) is a beautifully descriptive illustration of the author’s development of a spiritual path, intuitive awareness and deep inner peace. It illuminates movement from her early life traumas and discouragement to gracious awareness of All That Is. Sharing wisdom from spiritual teachers and insights from mystical experiences, the possibilities beyond our physical lives become real. As the illusion of the material world melts and communion with angels, ancestors, teachers, and masters becomes common place, she shows it is all available to anyone who seeks.
Lynne's second book, Living Hope -Steps to Leaving Suffering Behind (2016) is available on Amazon. Living Hope stands out not only as a poignant story of resilience in the face of family dysfunction and tragedy but as a model of hope, action and success. Everyone has suffered. The key is releasing and moving beyond to a life filled with spirituality, meaning and purpose. This book shows you how Lynne transformed her life from suffering to joy and how others can do the same. It includes actions, steps and tools, a reading and a movie list.
Stronger at the Broken Places – Heuristic Inquiry is Lynne's first book and has been referenced in the fields of autobiography, resilience and personal growth. It is an example of deep, rich autobiography and consciousness-raising phenomenological research. The heuristic inquiry process led to the creation of the Suffering to Self-Actualization Cycle depicting the cyclical nature of life and human response. Implications for education are presented in a model school proposal designed to develop skills and experience to help children develop resilience.
