Marc Buhmann initially focused on filmmaking and has worked as a writer, director, and producer on several award winning short films. His feature film, Dead in the Water, has been licensed for distribution in seven countries. Marc grew up reading John Saul, Stephen King, and F. Paul Wilson. The Lost Door was his first novel and blended horror, science fiction, and fantasy that resulted in a slow build to a rewarding and climactic finale. He is now focused on his Echoes Trilogy. Marc lives near Chicago, Illinois with his wife and two sons.
