From a young age I learned about art, beauty, and culture through literature. I was mesmerized with Oceans and Islands, Ancient civilizations from Aztec to Babylon, cities thousands of years old, and the timelessness and peace of Asian landscapes. I dared to be a traveler so I could experience these people and learn more of their stories. I would dream of mystical lands, gifts of powers and abilities, which I would reinforce through comic books and superheroes of my day to create the unbeatable protector. I learned to write and/or tell stories, finally capturing them using electronic media. My typing skills far eclipsed my handwriting in speed and, well, legibility. Eventually this led me to the internet where fantasy and storytelling merged into quasi-reality, and dreams could come to life and be changed at will. Archeology and fantasy were just a click away My career took a different course. Excelling in technology, business, and computer fields only enhanced my skills and provided an exciting background to add to my writing. I am, at heart, a natural problem solver; a negotiator. I'm also a pragmatist who focuses on the right solution; not necessarily the popular one. I am classically trained in Computer Science and Business, however, I find that storytelling is still the most rewarding skill in the world today in all professions. It can bring out the worst, or the best, of humanity in a single story... possibly both. Michael currently lives in Dallas, Texas with his wife and family.
