Michelle is a mom, and the #1 Best Selling Author of NINE DAYS: Living With My Soul Wide Open After Violent Trauma, and Held Hostage. She has spoken on multiple stages and featured on numerous podcasts, magazines, and television shows, including a recent episode of 48 Hours on CBS and Paramount Plus. A violent home invasion, kidnapping, hostage, and bank robbery crime was carried out against Michelle and her daughter, and her 13-year career as a Corporate Banker ended. After she and her daughter recovered from the trauma, Michelle earned a degree in Mass Media Communications and launched VERB Media Group in 2009. Michelle closed VERB’s doors in 2012 following her daughter's MS diagnosis to become her full-time caregiver. During that time Michelle began to study video production, digital marketing, and social media for business. With her lifelong passion for creative storytelling, VERB relaunched in 2014 focusing on video, photo, and podcast production creating compelling event and video podcast content. Today VERB is a thriving visual media agency. In 2023 Michelle also became a Certified Trauma-Informed Coach and plans to further help others who have survived traumatic experiences heal and live with their souls wide open.
