Mike’s love of cricket began 30 years ago, when he started playing at his primary school in Leeds. While his sporting prowess peaked soon after, his love of the game has never waned. It was in 2020 that Mike first had the idea for Fury Cricket. After watching an inordinate amount of the IPL, the possibility for a fantastic cricketing adventure started to form in his mind. A few years later, Fury Cricket was born, and the world of cricketing fiction was changed forever. Before writing Fury Cricket, Mike wrote 40 books on teaching, learning and education. When not doing things Fury-Cricket-related, he helps teachers and children through his educational consultancy business. He lives in York, with his wife, their two young boys, and a big stash of books.
