I started working as a cover artist with BVS in the early 2000's. I offered a story, The Anniversary, as a contribution to a supernatural romance anthology they were putting together, The Crimson Z. You never forget the buzz you get when you see your first story in print. Around 2006, I had an idea for an art book that became Beauty in Every Form, a book on positive body image. This sparked a desire to work on other projects. A second book, At The Going Down of the Sun, was a book on the subject of the First World War. This was a joint project with the artist and writer, Marian Savill. It was at this time I formed my own publishing company, Savage Publications. We have gone on to publish a number of arts-based books. Another major change happened at this time, I was offered the opportunity to take over BVS as owner and CEO. It is challenging running a publishing company but it is a privilege working with so many creative people. We are always looking for talented writers and artists to work with.
