Rob Roozeboom is Founder and President of RISE Ministries, Inc. RISE’s Christian Music Festival, RiseFest, attracts thousands each summer to central Iowa. While living with the challenges of Muscular Dystrophy, Rob also serves as Chairman of the Christian Festival Association (CFA), hosts the podcast “Enjoying the Journey,” and with his team produces TV broadcasts as well as “Stories of Strength,” a video series with real-life stories of overcoming adversity through Jesus. After being featured on the Jerry Lewis MDA Labor Day Telethon, Rob traveled as an MDA spokesperson for more than a decade. With the help of a dedicated care team, Rob continues to lead in ministry and share Jesus’ message of hope in brokenness. He and his wife, along with their three young adult children—who are the best helpers of all—live in Sheldon, Iowa.
