Journalist and author Robert H. Gettlin, is co-author of Silent Coup: The Removal of a President, the groundbreaking national bestseller that uncovered historic and startling new information and perspectives on the Watergate scandal. The book’s impact was profound, securing a 12-week presence on The New York Times bestseller list in 1991 and featured on other prominent national charts. Through their meticulous investigation, Bob and his late co-author Len Colodny documented that Nixon’s secret foreign policy initiatives with China and Russia activated opposition forces in the government and press to move against him and use Watergate to force him from office.
