Ron Cook is an author and craftsman living in Santa Cruz, California. He has appeared in and written for Renaissance Magazine, and his works have appeared in American Woodworker, American Craft, Early Music America, Dulcimer Players News, The Crafts Report, Guitarmaker, Sunset, and several technical trade journals. He has also been featured in the books "Humor in Craft", by Brigette Martin, and "Wood Art Today 2", ed. Jeffrey B. Snyder. He and his works have appeared on television: WABC in New York, KGO in San Francisco, San Jose Community TV, and Community Television of Santa Cruz. Ron has also written five books… so far. Ron has been writing since grade school and is a member of the Mystery Writers of America and Sisters in Crime. He is also a 40+-year member of the Guild of American Luthiers and was a Santa Cruz County Open Studios artist for 20 years.
