I am a service disabled, retired U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel, now entrepreneur, pursuing my love for making positive impact in the lives of others. I am a Leadership expert, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Alethes (AL-AY-THACE) Consulting Group. I am a certified John Maxwell Coach, Teacher, Speaker, a Certified Defense Financial Manager, a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, and serve as the Chaplain on the board for Women Veterans Interactive, supporting veteran women through Advocacy, Empowerment, Interaction, Outreach and Unification. I am an experienced platform speaker who inspires, motivates and entertains my audiences; large and small with boldness, confidence and proven results. Anointed to Teach, it is my heart's desire to take all of my leadership and ministry training and add value to others, by teaching discipline, personal growth and the importance of the "Truth." I received my commission as a Financial Manager after graduating in 1988 from Howard University as a ROTC Distinguished Military Graduate. At Howard, I earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting (BBA-A), and in 1994, I earned a Master of Science in Business Administration (MSBA) degree from Boston University. I am also a graduate of the Army’s Command and General Staff College, and Force Management School. Throughout my 23 years of serving my country, I served in numerous locations and positions throughout the United States, Germany, Cuba, S. Korea, and Iraq. I am an Operation Enduring Freedom/Operation Iraqi Freedom/Operation New Dawn Veteran, having earned numerous military awards and decorations. I serve in various church ministries, as a member of several military professional organizations, and as a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. I am the proud mother of a "Kingdom Disciplined, Obedient, Scholar-Athlete, Disciple-Making, Virgin" son named John'al.
