Shauna Packer has been a professional corporate and freelance writer, researcher, and content editor for over twelve years and is a multi-award-winning fiction and non-fiction author. Shauna has been published in several commercial anthologies, including Angels to Bear You Up, Utah Voices: A Literary Annual, and Mother's Messages in a Bottle. Shauna has worked on projects ranging from scripts for children’s educational shorts, web copy, corporate bios, social media branding, and “book doctoring” full length novels for clients. Destroying Their God is her first non-fiction book. This was not a book she expected to write, but felt captivated by this story of a man who was willing to die…and almost did…to save his children from spiritual slavery at the hands of a pedophile. In addition, Shauna has two novels: one women’s fiction and the other historical fiction (set in Civil War-era western U.S.) in the marketing process. She has two further books, one fiction and one non, in development. Shauna believes in giving back to her local area and writing community. A lifelong reading tutor, she also serves as volunteer publicist for the Helping Kids with Cancer charity. She finds great joy in mentoring new writing talent, be that someone thirteen or someone seventy. When asked what she likes to read, Shauna answers, “Anything and everything!” So, please feel free to connect and share ideas. She promises to read at least the first twenty pages of any suggested book. Caveat: Shauna doesn’t read corset-busters, erotica, or books that have satanic or occult-like themes. Anything else, is fair game. Thanks so much for stopping by!
