Welcome to my Amazon author page. My Baby Boomer mystery series follows the adventures of Carol and Jim Andrews as they navigate their way along life's highway toward their twilight years. With one dead body thrown in, just to keep things interesting. Some information about me: I've been a feature writer, drama critic and editor for daily and weekly newspapers and magazines in the NY metro area. I'm a member of Sisters in Crime, International Thriller Writers, and the Cape Cod Writers Center, all great resources for mystery writers. The published titles in the series are: "Retirement Can Be Murder," 2009 (has been suggested for a tv series -- I'm still hopeful!); "Moving Can Be Murder," 2011; "Marriage Can Be Murder," 2012 (features a destination wedding on Nantucket and was chosen as one of Suspense Magazine's 2012 Best Mysteries); "Class Reunions Can Be Murder," 2013 (this one takes place at Carol's 40th high school reunion); "Funerals Can Be Murder," 2014. Book 6, "Second Honeymoons Can Be Murder," takes place in Florida and was released on February 16, 2016. Next in the series, released in July 2017 is "Dieting Can Be Murder," because Carol gained a little too much weight on her Florida trip and wants to lose it as quickly as possible. Without doing the things she should -- like watching what she eats, portion control, and exercising. "In-Laws Can Be Murder" was released in July 2018. Carol and Jim have to deal with the really annoying person who popped up, much to my surprise, at the end of book 7. 2019 is the tenth anniversary of the series. Unbelievable. To celebrate, there's a boxed set of "Retirement Can Be Murder and Moving Can Be Murder" -- revised under the new title "Milestones Can Be Murder." Twice the laughs, twice the fun, twice the murders! Check it out! My nine-year-old English cocker spaniel, Boomer, is the model for the books' covers. He's quite the handsome guy. And a photo of our newest addition to the family, Lilly (AKC name, "My Pulitzer Prize") now graces the back covers. Be sure to study each cover carefully to see if you can identify the murder weapon! There are several more surprises in store as the series continues. But Carol won't allow me to give even the tiniest hint (she's very bossy), so you'll just have to check in often. And please, leave a review if you like the books. Carol (and I) would be so grateful!
