I am an educator and children's author. Although my love is writing, my passion is dogs, especially dachshunds!!! I am published in Ladybug magazine, on the website MeeGenius and Knowonder. Although kiddie lit is my favorite, I can find an adult piece on my computer if I look really hard. My inspiration for Only Losers Cry is my late husband's work with the homeless and addicted. I am presently writing a dystopian novel entitled WITHIN. I have the beginning and the ending finished. Now I am searching for the middle. Hope my muse shows up soon to help me find it. My one challenge in life is to get our public schools to return recess to the elementary schools, especially the early childhood programs. I have written many editorials on the subject, but so far no one is listening. So sad for our children.
