Tanya Pershin is a wife of over twenty years and a mom to two very active teenage boys. Three years ago she found herself frustrated to the point of tears. She could not get anything right. Parenting was not intuitive, there was no instruction manual, and apparently no other moms were struggling like she was. She continuously asked, "Why won't my teenagers listen to me? Why can't I influence them? What have I done wrong!?" She reached a breaking point. Sometimes you need to have a breakdown to have a breakthrough. She went on a three year intensive journey that she is still on today to learn from the best parents, find empowering meanings despite the challenges, and finally get this "MOM"ing thing right! She is the author of “MOM”ing: It’s Not All Sparkles and Tutus where she is H.O.T. (honest, open, transparent) and shares lessons that have gotten her through the exhaustion and fears of “MOM”ing. In addition to “MOM”ing and being an author, Tanya is also the visionary behind Player’s Fitness and Performance’s renowned Guest Experience Formula, which is continuing to revolutionize the way customer service is done in the fitness industry. Her passion to serve, entertain, and make customers smile has led to the creation of the world class Guest Experience at PFP. Tanya is full of life, unending energy, passion and curiosity.
