Tara Stillions Whitehead is a multi-genre writer, filmmaker, and professor. She is the author of the hybrid chapbook Blood Histories (Galileo Press, 2021), and two collections: The Year of the Monster (Unsolicited Press, 2022), and They More Than Burned (ELJ Editions, 2023). Her writing has appeared in dozens of magazines and journals, including Fairy Tale Review, Cream City Review, PRISM international, and The Rupture. Her work was selected for the Wigleaf Top 50 in 2021 and 2022 and has received various nominations for Best of the Net, Best Small Fictions, and the Pushcart Prize.
