The Davies Brothers are Nicholas and Brett Davies, twin brothers who share a love of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes stories, as well as books, films, history and the Wales football team. They are the winners of the BAFTA Rocliffe New Writers Showcase 2018 (supported by the London Book Fair). Nicholas is a freelance writer and PhD researcher based in Cardiff. He previously worked for the Arts Council of Wales focusing on theatre and drama. He now writes screenplays, stories, and theatre reviews and articles for The Stage newspaper. He speaks English, Welsh and basic Spanish. Brett lived in four different countries before settling in Japan, where he teaches English and Film Studies at a university in Tokyo.
