Tysheem Crocker is a Business Technology graduate, earning the Certificate at SCI Mahanoy, in Pennsylvaina in 2003. Graduating at the top of his class, Tysheem earned a Certificate in Creative Writing at SCI Somerset, in Pennsylvaina in 2013. Originally from the Bronx, New York, Tysheem's interests in literature and knack for writing began while serving time in prison for a crime he didn't commit. Since 2010, he has published 8 novels under the pseudonym Boog Deniro. But, the inspiration for his memoir was Tysheem's fight against injustice and his 25 year battle for his freedom. His relentlessness has landed his story on the award winning WRONGFUL CONVICTION PODCASTS with Jason Flom (#330, February 2023), and garnered thee attention of other activists. Tysheem has been guest speaker at Morgan State University where he discussed the content of his heart-wrenching memoir before a full class of students. One of his favorite sayings is: What am I doing to help God help me?
