An award-winning writer, educator, creative consultant, and public relations professional, Wendy Dwyer teaches at Indian River State College. Her boundless imagination and knack for creating wildly-successful fundraising ideas and events also help to raise funds for several non-profit organizations serving her community. Drawing upon skills mastered as a singer in rock and swing bands, Dwyer also designs and facilitates dynamic and engaging public relations trainings for organizations and businesses. When she is not working or volunteering, Dwyer enjoys writing, country walks, and spending time with her husband Dan and a variety of damaged and rescued animals (horses, pig, dogs, cats, lonesome dove) at her rural home in Fort Pierce, Florida.
