- Must-listen mystery
-
A great mystery story with an element of time travel too which keeps you hooked to the very end. It's a story about a mother who after finding out about the crime committed by her son, wakes up the next morning a day earlier to realize that it hasn't happened yet. She begins waking up further and further back in time and tries to find out what leads to this situation. A story which gets you absorbed making it a must-listen in the mystery genre.

- Mind-blowing plot twists
-
Come be a part of Yale's fascinating Secret Societies! Ninth House easily qualifies as one of the top books of YA Fantasy novels. Bardugo maintains the suspense right till the very end, and murder, mystery and dark academia are woven perfectly into the storyline. I was on the edge of my seat throughout the audiobook, and definitely did not expect the mind-blowing plot twists. So excited for the sequel now!! The chemistry between Alex and Darlington is equally fascinating. The book, however, comes with its own share of horror and trigger warnings, so those who get squeamish might approach this with caution. I thoroughly enjoyed this listening; the narration was just perfect.

- Cautionary tale
-
Michael Crichton delivers a cautionary tale as dinosaurs have been brought back from extinction using bleeding edge biotechnology. Jurassic Park imagines a theme park built to contain and showcase these behemoths with no expenses spared, except when they are. The movie adaptation strays enough from the source to make this a worthwhile listen even for those familiar with the 1993 classic.

I love Assassin's Creed and I always liked how they put fictional characters and historical figures together in one plot. Historical figures like Sir Isaac Newton, William Chaloner, King William III, Omar Khaled and Rose Galloway are all part of the story. Assassin's Creed Gold parallels the financial chaos of Isaac Newton’s 17th-century Britain and the economic uncertainty of recent history. Fans of the franchise will be pleased with the music in this title as it takes the music from Assassin's Creed III and AC Revelations from composer Lorne Balfe.

Narrated by Stephen King himself, any and all fans of horror should definitely give this a listen. And bonus, it will definitely give a good scare to any reader who is getting into psychological thrillers. Stephen King may not be known for his narration skills but he does a really good job with the narration of this title.

Even after Stan Lee's death, he is still surprising us with the incredible imagination and creativity that he used to create stories like this one. The experience of listening to a Stan Lee audiobook when I'm used to seeing his movies made me feel like a part of the story, because I was the one in charge of creating the unique movie in my head. What makes listening an incredible experience is that each person who listens to this audiobook has a different and original movie playing in their head. The narrator, Yara Shahidi is really good, she really hooks you into the plot. The special sound effects are subtle so you're not distracted or overwhelmed by excessive background sounds.

This was a pleasant story of how a personal driver turned himself into a well-known and respected entrepreneur by all means. This listen did a great job depicting the metaphor of a light India, which indicates high moral standards, and a dark India, which represents immorality. I enjoyed listening to the accent of the narrator, John Lee.

The narrators, Elizabeth Louise and Hero Fiennes Tiffin, each have a great tone and approach to the content. There are some amazing characters in this listen and the plot allowed my imagination to run wild. Overall, it's well put together and every second left me wanting more. This is the first installment in the After (Todd) series. I started this listen a week ago and I am almost through the second title in the series. The relationship dynamic in this title is what makes it a must-listen for me.

Have you ever heard of an audiobook told completely through phone calls? Well, this is the case for Evil Eye by Madhuri Shekar and personally, I think it made it so original and creative. This is a unique mother/daughter story, Pallavi was born in India, but raised in the US, and her mother is still living in India. Pallavi turned 29 and was still not married, and in Indian culture that is not common so her mother was constantly asking her to meet someone and get married. She even planned a date for her daughter without her consent. Finally, Pallavi meets someone, but her mother gets a bad feeling, she is convinced that her daughter has the "Evil Eye". The man her daughter met was suspicious, almost too good to be true, are the predictions real? Is Pallavi going to have a happy ending? Get this audiobook so you can find out!

I recently listened to the audiobook The Hobbit. The narrator Rob Inglis does a brilliant job on the book. I love the way he gives each character a unique voice and even goes as far as to sing the songs. In comparison to the movie, the audiobook gives us so much more detail and is focused more on the main character Bilbo. However, one of the characters, Smaug, is more terrifying in the movie in comparison to the audiobook. I'm a tough grader, but this gets an 8 out of 10 from me!

- A great listen for powerful females
-
This title is about four girls who are in the last stages of a school where they are trained to become good wives, good mothers, etc. They didn’t receive any practical education, they weren’t taught to be rebellious or to think but to conform. But these four friends never followed the status quo and were frowned upon by others. I wish the author had empowered other female characters in this story a bit more, especially those in a higher class, just to prove that female independence is achievable. Aside from that, this was a good listen, the title will have you in a trance.
