Predictable & Unsatisfying

I enjoyed the voice acting.
Travis has done an exceptional job bring the characters to life.
Liz’ has done an incredible job as well, but her inclusion this late in the series wasn’t the best choice.
I’m waiting to hear specific inflections in her voice to cue the character transitions that I’ve come to know with Travis, but it’s a jarring experience going from familiar to unfamiliar.
If Podium had Liz play the female characters and Travis the males, the transition wouldn’t have been so jarring.
Anyways, it was a good listen, but probably not a constant repeat.
Story = Meh.
Performance = Great.
Overall = Worth the listen.

Fantastic & Frustrating!

The author has built on his ability to tease a listener with their inductive conclusions.
I enjoyed the performance, but at 3:00:58 - 3:02:42 —chapter 6 about 2 minutes into the dialogue there were some terrible mic issues! (killed my immersion, and surprised it snuck through).
Overall, the group delivered another amazing performance!
Whomever let that mic issue sneak through. Tisk, tisk.

I enjoyed the story, but more so I enjoyed Travis’s performance.
There are few audio books that have made me come back multiple times for the voice acting, and he's fantastic.
The first time I listened to this book, I CRINGED as he performed the female roles, but after an hour of listening I realized he brought the characters to life regardless of their gender.
He does a consistent voice for each character, and it stays consistent throughout the series.
If you're interested in being transported to a new world and experiencing an adventure, buy this Publisher pack and let Travis tell you the tale of King Grey.

First, the story is amazing—it hooks the listener from start to finish.
Secondly, voice acting and performance is top notch, and I’d dare to say better than the Sandman Audible original.
Thirdly, if you’re on a vampire binge of video games, movies, books, or comics, then this is for you.
Comparable to: Stake Land, Underworld, The Strain, Interview with a Vampire, Blood Red Sky, and many other cult favourites for readers, or movie watchers alike. (I’m including Vampyr [Video Game] to this list ‘cause I enjoyed the writing).

I decided to listen to Scarlett’s rendition on a whim, but her talent quickly enthralled me.
If you’re on the fence thinking this might be another monotonous narration of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, be assured Scarlett doesn’t disappoint in this rendition—she simply leaves you wanting more.
