Hoping this Hummingbird is set free

The Duke did an amazing job expressing, characterizing, and explaining what he knows to be true.
Yea, the on-slot, and repeated reference to his penile whoas were a tad much. Other than that, this book was a joy and sorrow to listen too.
I’m happy I took a chance, and moreover, listened until the end.
I wish him the best for him and his entire family, and hope that the hummingbird finds serenity.

As a Canadian I will start with…Sorry. Kelly, I listened but hoped for much more. So often, throughout, it was you were begging the listener to be kind rather than speaking to your story.
I throughly enjoyed the LAST 20 minutes.
Unfortunately, I would not recommend this book.

Intertwining love stories - not required

Always go to Ken F. books, however this time I was underwhelmed. The 3 love stories took too much away from the truth of the story.
Hoping for a sequel of sorts…but not with the romantic overtones.

I remember this story well from elementary school, and it was about time for me to review.

The story line was good. Too long, too many chapters. The narrator made 2 mistakes that I noted , 1 - calling Rolland, ‘Ronald’ and at the end of chapter 46, Maggie gives a letter to Gabriel and says, “ask HER to read it HERSELF”. Gabriel is the male character.
The accents are very off. I can’t say I enjoyed the audio.
