I loved every minute of this story, and appreciate the author’s narration. It would have been challenging for anyone else to give it the same depth and cadence.

Some people get excited about budgets

and some of us prefer action. I’m pretty sure this book made many details-oriented folks happy as it delved into political and social structures. Now that the framework is in my mind I’m hoping there is more story movement in the next books.

Kudos to the narrators

I have been reading hard copies of this series and switched to audiobook for this one as I’ve been too busy to sit and read. I was nervous that the voices and name pronunciations in my mind would butt uncomfortably up against the narrator’s versions, but honestly it has been a very smooth transition. Having two narrators makes for lovely transitions between characters. Really enjoyed this.

Great stories, terrible narration

This audiobook is terribly hard to listen to. The cadence is stilted, the accent is fuzzy and thick, and the pace is awkward.
It is hard to follow along with the story because of the cadence and pace.

Satisfying to an old collector

I collected Sandman comics in the early 90’s and this was a satisfying and immersive trip back to those days. Extremely well done, thoroughly enjoyable.
