Most of us have heard of gluten - a protein found in wheat that causes widespread inflammation in the body. Americans spend billions of dollars on gluten-free diets in an effort to protect their health. But what if we’ve been missing the root of the problem? In The Plant Paradox, renowned cardiologist Dr. Steven Gundry reveals that gluten is just one variety of a common, and highly toxic, plant-based protein called lectin.

Experience a bold take on this classic autobiography as it’s performed by Oscar-nominated Laurence Fishburne. In this searing classic autobiography, originally published in 1965, Malcolm X, the Muslim leader, firebrand, and Black empowerment activist, tells the extraordinary story of his life and the growth of the Human Rights movement. His fascinating perspective on the lies and limitations of the American dream and the inherent racism in a society that denies its non-White citizens the opportunity to dream, gives extraordinary insight into the most urgent issues of our own time.

So many nuggets…
Took away so many nuggets! Although, as an ultra runner, I instinctively believed in the 80/20 rule, this book backed it with the studies I was too lazy to look up. Although the first half (the science part) took some endurance to get through, the rewards were high. Brand new to me was the advice for older athletes and diving deep into cross-training (deeper than I have reached before). So yeah, Thank You, Matt Fitzgerald, for this sound, specific, backed-by-science (rather than trends) advice!! 🙏🏻
