The tragedy of our time has been happening all around us, barely noticeable from day to day - the loss of our planet's wild places, its biodiversity. I have been witness to this decline. A Life on Our Planet is my witness statement and my vision for the future. It is the story of how we came to make this, our greatest mistake - and how, if we act now, we can yet put it right.
We have one final chance to create the perfect home for ourselves and restore the wonderful world we inherited.
All we need is the will to do so.

Very informative
What a comprehensive and interesting book by one of my hero's. I loved listening to it in Sir David's voice but it is such a great resource that I've bought the hard copy as well.

A must read
This was beautifully written, performed and laid out. Parts of the book were difficult to get through because the future seems bleak, but David Attenborough instills a lot of hope and has ultimately given a wonderful vision for the future and call to action.

I am not sure who this is for…
Well written and I’ll assume that everything is factual and well researched. I am not sure who he is speaking to…because the human race does not care and this has been proven time and time again. Humans are like a Cancer…they will eat its host until the host dies and than through its own ignorance it will parish too.
