Just What We Needed In 2020
No one on earth can tell a story quite like a Newfoundlander, and this book shows that once again. One of Canada's best sits down and pulls you mentally into a pub, and starts telling stories of his life.
You might not safely find this warm experience thanks to the pandemic, but you'll find it in this book. You'll laugh, take away a few lessons, and just have a grand ol' time.

The book we all need in these times

Delightful!
I loved Alan Doyle’s companionship, voice, humour and connection as he recounts stories filled with humanity and humility. Connection, however we can get it now, will see us through this damn pandemic.

Excellent light listen
I loved every story told by the amazing Alan Doyle. Alan holds you throughout the entire book and leaves you laughing and loving.

Thk u n we miss u too
Without this bad circumstance of world Covid I likely would have not stumbled across Alan Doyle. Albeit like GBS tunes but decided to chk out his books. Wow exactly the soul food I needed. Take that bar stool or couch or chair whatever n listen to this most enduring tale of a CANADIAN ICON soooo under-rated. Alan you truly are perfection! Thk u for being you!
