We start off with the weigh-in. Did I lose or gain?
You find out more about my family. You learn that I'm a stress-eater. You find out that I have gained about 130 pounds over the past 8 years. I do mention the numbers of how day 2 went and what foods I ate.

They say to talk about yourself. Talk about what you know. I am a retired high school math teacher. I know math and I will get into that later on. I will build on this podcast and bring more shows about different topics down the line. But when you first start, you need it to be real and I want to document what I'm going through. I just turned 50 and I weighed in at 331 pounds the other day. I got very depressed the last several days and my birthday was a huge wake-up call. I need to lose weight. But it is very hard to put down the fork! I need help and talking about it should help me. My hope is that talking about it will help you too. I want to share recipe ideas, meal plans, pictures, ups, downs, laughs, and maybe even shed a tear. It's going to be an adventure.
