I’d you’re looking for some spice
Decent plot, why choose romance with dominance and respect. Stand alone and a good spicy story you can finish quickly.

Omg
Love the story didn’t feel lost at all with it being able to be a stand alone. Also. O. M. G. The audiobook version is so worth it. I don’t often think that but this one definitely. The voice of Caius is wow, especially during the spicy bits.

Great! (But also gross)
So I did love this story more than most RH shifter romances because the male love interests were kind to the heroine from the very beginning. The cruelty to her was done by others, and their actions were repaid in kind, leaving a truly happy ending that I’d come to forget can exist in this genre. No cliffhangers (though I wouldn’t hate a sequel to follow the clan after this book), no lingering evils, just true comfort and happiness.
Despite all this, however, the amount of times the word “cum” was used borders on criminal. And I also often forget that some shifter romances love to add in the “knot”, which makes me want to hurl. Like, please don’t call it a bulb either, that wasn’t any better :(
It wasn’t enough to put me off this book completely though. It’s worth a read to decompress from the barrage of bully romances I always see in my recommended, and the storyline wasn’t so saturated with sex that it detracted from the narrative.
Also, the heroine is actually reasonable!! Despite being young, she accepts her failings while building upon her strengths, accepting her role as omega, but not as a weakling, and pushing back on perceived injustices when it’s required.
So, to summarize:
-Great story with a happy ending
-Please dear god enough with the knotting
-Strong, though fallible, heroine

Wow what a Book
I Loved the narration it was Brilliant story was pretty great for a shifter romance and the FMC was not some ditzy idiot which I very much appreciated so over all a great listen and worth the credit

female mc has 0 personaliy
just obey and don't speak her mind its east to dislike her and the men make all the decisions she constantly says she will pick her battles and this one is not it but she never actually has any battle with her men.
