Captivating. The interweaving of all the cases and personal story lines in this real life crime saga is expertly done. Was on the edge of my seat and rooting for Bob and John all the way through. Horrifying, heartbreaking and uplifting all at the same time. Great pace and narrating by both authors.

I listened to an interview from Howie Mandell. I wasn’t sure if I would get the audible as crime stories aren’t a big pull for me. But howie said, he is not a reader and couldn’t put it down. He would get the audible and listen as it is that good of a book. So knowing what that feels like I decided to get it. And I could not stop listening to it. A day and a half ago I got the audible and listened pretty much straight through. It was so captivating. I think what made it more intense was it is a true story. Hearing how he would call JE, get help right off the bat, you could picture every step he took. I’m thinking, what am I going to do now? So I’ll listen to it again. Anyways, I could picture Bob ordering a scotch and John a chocolate Sunday. Total pair that doesn’t make sense yet it makes perfect sense at the same time. Love it.

Thank you, John Edward and Robert Hilland, for creating a book that is not only captivating but also life-changing.

While I was reading, I kept getting this strong feeling that this story is meant to be a miniseries. I could see it with Wayfarer Studios, bringing together real crime, supernatural insight, and lived wisdom for a much wider audience. It would be powerful and empowering because it could open the minds of skeptics by showing the real impact of combining intuition with law enforcement.

This book was a rollercoaster, raw, real, and unforgettable. John Edward’s authenticity and lighthearted soul shine through so clearly. Robert Hilland’s presence as a former FBI agent adds so much grounding and credibility.

The ripple effect you both speak about is real. The wisdom in this book is overflowing, right down to John’s acknowledgments, which left me thinking about them long after I finished.

I believe this book can change lives, and I hope many people read it. John and Robert, you have already changed countless lives, and I believe this is only the beginning.

Picked this one on a whim and couldn’t stop listening. Deep, connective and intelligent. The true crime aspect drew me in and narration got me hooked but the arial view of the story touched my soul.
