good story, unlikable characters, overall not bad
Really liked the story, nice twist. unfortunately I did have to forwards through some parts, a lot of unnecessary descriptive scenes, just dragging on. those did not aid in the advancement of the story in anyway.

Narrator is decent, story is mediocre
The first GGGTM was great and then the second and third books steadily got ridiculous, this book was the same. Development of the characters wasn’t great because except for Oliver, whom was the worst character ever, I didn’t feel like there was a strong connection made. It felt like a waste of time reading this tbh. I found myself skipping through it so it would be done. It was over hyped.

A fast paced thriller
Wow! What a twist! I was very pleased with the story, and after listening to the GGGTM trilogy, I was intrigued with the latest Holly Jackson book. The storyline was great, a little drawn out in some portions, but overall a good build until the climax.
However, the voice actor that was used was so screechy and annoying. I almost stopped listening to the book because of the voice. In the beginning when Simon is drunk and yelling, I stopped listening to it. But seeing all the positive reviews online I continued to listen. I eventually got used to it, but if I previewed another book and it had the same voice actor, I wouldn’t bother.

instant obsession
Honestly, if you like women written and narrated thrillers, domestic thrillers, and/or horror, LISTEN to this. It is exactly what you want, I promise. This book should be an instant classic in this genre. The author is brilliant and the narrator perfection. Absolutely obsessed.

Loved it
At first, I thought this was an ongoing story from “a good girls guide to murder” so at first, I was disappointed that the stories didn’t align. But overall really happy with the story, the character development, and the narrator was good to listen to!

So easy to listen to and follow
It took a little bit to get started. I felt like the plot twist took forever to happen in the last few chapters. It was so good though and glad I listened to it.
I love that one voice read the whole book. I chose this one over a diff book I was listening to by another author because I couldn’t keep track of which character was talking and could not follow the story. I’m so glad I decided to listen to this one instead.

Absolutely riveting
Holly Jackson never disappoints!! This was exactly what I needed to get me out of a reading slump. Got learned into a false sense of security when I figured out the first twist, but did not see the second and third twists coming. Loved it!!
