I enjoyed it!
I find a books that put humanity down a peg on the worldly domination scale can be refreshing. This book kept me engaged and wanting more.

If you're a real skydiver, you will need to suspend your belief, a lot, for this tale.
RC Bray did a fine job of reading the story. I just had too much trouble suspending my belief to really get into it.
if your going to write about skydiving related things, maybe check with a current jumper or two. Capwells have been ancient history since the early 80's. Some of the canopy related segments were ok, until some glaring bit threw me out of the story. Just choices of words and descriptions of actions in freefall, under canopy and actions on landing messed up the story.
Also had issues with the "boosters" and the whole recovery process. Balloons don't work that way......
I wanted to enjoy the story, and was look forward to a new series to listen too, but, it was a struggle to get through this one.

Great adventure
The characters, story line and narration had me engrossed from start to finish. Not really into post apocalyptic stories, but this had me in the moment. looking forward to Book 2. thx

Doomed to forever find power cells and pressure valves. Someone please tell the author other things can also be needed sometimes.
