Amazon is the fastest company ever to reach $100 billion in sales, and they didn’t reach that landmark by staying in their comfort zone. Risk-taking is the key that unlocked the door to growth at Amazon, but those risks were (and are) intentional, calculated, and strategic. Thomas Edison believed: “I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work.” Like Edison, Amazon’s founder Jeff Bezos has also linked experimentation and failure with growth and success.

A business parable about how to create a start-up that won't trap you when you want to sell it. According to John Warrillow, the number one mistake entrepreneurs make is to build a business that relies too heavily on them. Thus, when the time comes to sell, buyers aren't confident that the company-even if it's profitable-can stand on its own. To illustrate this, Warrillow introduces us to a fictional small business owner named Alex who is struggling to sell his advertising agency.

Why do some products capture our attention, while others flop? What makes us engage with certain products out of habit? Is there a pattern underlying how technologies hook us? This audiobook introduces listeners to the "Hooked Model", a four-step process companies use to build customer habits. Through consecutive cycles through the hook, successful products reach their ultimate goal of bringing users back repeatedly - without depending on costly advertising or aggressive messaging.

Most of us still live by the motto, “No pain, no gain.” But this approach to life is actually a prescription for fear, frustration, and self-doubt. Much of what we learn about success is based on the pain/gain idea: in essence, work harder, be more persistent, and develop greater willpower. The New Psycho-Cybernetics formula is anything but painful. It will allow you to achieve all your goals, faster, easier, and with less strain than you ever thought possible.

Mindfulness is not about complicated and otherworldly woo-woo spiritual practices. It doesn't require you to be a part of any religion or a movement. What mindfulness is about is living a good life (that's quite practical, right?), and this book is all about deepening your awareness, getting to know yourself, and developing attitudes and mental habits that will make you not only a successful and effective person in life, but a happy and wise one as well.

Great content, PDF would be nice, narration poor
I was a little worried through listening to the beginning that the book. It appeared to be setting itself up to simply be a marketing effort of itself, like far too many "business" books are. Purchasing a book should never be the entry into the top of some business's marketing funnel, offering very little standalone value. Luckily that was not the case as I continued to read. Sure, the reader can deep dive into any subject which will require paying for further products / services from the Author's larger business. However, if you are handy with the internet and can function through a boostrapped mentality, you certainly get a lot value from the practical advice from this book to move onwards without needing to buy more.
What I do critisize the audio version of this book for, and hence my 3/5 star rating is:
Deduct 1 star for having no accompanying PDF
Deduct 1 star for a less than stellar narration
PDF - Lack of PDF feels like the author wants the listener to be dependant upon visitng the website and therefore signing up for top of funnel designed inbound content to get the graphs, charts, bullet points etc referenced in the book. That feels cheap. Not a fan. Can't hold this against the original book though, but I can certainly merrit the dediction of 1 star since I'm rating the audio book, not the physical book.
Narration - She's reading a prompter, it's very obvious. Not much more to say than that. Also, there's times in which she'll speak of Aaron in the 3rd person and other's in which she'll use the first person.
Side-tangent: I always prefer it when the author narrates their own book. I understand that cannot always be plausible, especially if the author isn't the most charismatic speaker. But 99.9% of the time, read by the author is WAY better than even the best professional narration. This narration,
