The first semester is ending. It's time to take on the Tower!
The excursion was a mess. Sal's trust in his team is at rock bottom from the actions of another in the final fight. He now needs to enter the Tower and fight demons with the same person who betrayed him.
As if that wasn't enough, he's pretty sure the former Super-Rookie and wonder kid on his team is actually a ticking time bomb, just waiting to explode.
Faced with the accusation that he's squandering his power, Sal is forced to question what type of Hero he wants to become. He's already pushing the limits of Mythcrafting, but if he's to really live up to his potential, it's time for him to focus on the ability he was born with: Skill Master.
The first semester is coming to an end, and the race to become a part of the Saviour class is on. With only a short amount of time to prepare for the Tower, Sal will need as much help as he can get to have a chance of success.
It's time for Sal to start creating a whole new weave...

another good entry
more crafting, some existenial anxiety, and some good battles mixed in. Erica is still a bitch. I am torn between wanting to see her crumble and having a redemption arc.

can't wait for the next one!
every one of these books leaves me wanting more chapters. they all end at a point where you just really want to know what happens next

My favourite new series, a must listen!
I pre-ordered this as it has quickly become one of my favourites. This book for me has a bit of a rough start, spend too much time explaining how to make items, kind of like explaining hoe to cast a fireball. I get it its magic fantasy just do it and move on. Then the book really takes of with missions and whole intrigue, I do feel bad for …. Well you'll find out. Can’t wait for next instalment, please keep going and don’t stop on book 4.

A fun end to the semester
I thought the pacing in this book was pretty good and managed to get a good blend of crafting/adventure/world-building going. The narrators did great work, too. If you enjoyed the earlier books, there's no reason not to continue!
