A great sequel
I really needed an ending or answers to Gone With the Wind and this did not disappoint! However I feel like it is written with some large differences to how Margaret Mitchell would have, and I'm not crazy about the storyline taking Scarlett where she went (I don't want to give spoilers). But you can't expect a different author to write the same way.

Enjoying reading
This wasn’t gone with the wind but it attached to it perfectly. The characters are rich and complex. The new places gives the story different perspectives. I liked it and enjoyed it as much as the original story.

Ireland
A very good sequel and goes all the way back to Ireland from where the O’Haras originated.
The details are marvellous and you have a feel as if you are there.

A Must for Gone With The Wind Lovers
If you love Gone With The Wind you will love this audiobook. Only issue is that it is rambling in some parts, but that is due to the author not the audiobook. Not Margaret Mitchell of course, so keep that in mind. A solid performance and audiobook. #Audible1

Filled the void created by Gone With the Wind
Did its job well- Filled the void which is why I started it but didn't offer enough of Rhett Butler. I think it didn't even mean to which is why it was named Scarlett. The end is abrupt...could have been elaborated a bit more.

couldn't put it down
Loved listening to this. Had it on all the time. Felt the ending was a little rushed compared to the rest of the well written book. But still and enjoyed it and would recommend

Reads Like Fanfiction
The book isn’t terrible... it caters to those who crave a more defined ending.
I don’t have a problem that it is not as amazing as Gone With The Wind. Not many sequels—especially ones written by different authors—can ever hope to reach the level of the original.
If you can accept that the story is a kind of wish fulfillment, you’ll enjoy it. I know I did.
