Love this book
Love this book, author, narrator. All are perfect. Can’t stop listening once I start the book, hate any interruptions, rewind to make sure I have listened to every word.

Audio is not what is in the book
I couldn’t enjoy this audio book due to all the paraphrasing even what the characters where saying didn’t match the book at all.

I was unable to complete it. The characters lack authenticity, and a significant portion of the story could have been omitted if they would just talk to each other. The use of character arrogance as a plot device is frustrating as hell.

Won’t bother with another by this author
It was just waaaaaay too long and didn’t need to be.
Also, I didn’t find the story line with Josef and with the hypnotized former patients ever came together. This all occurred over a couple of days, and just wasn’t believable that these unrelated events could occur on the same day in someone’s otherwise normal life. IF it was supposed to be because he started hypnotizing again, that makes less sense since Benjamin had developed a relationship with Lydia.
And did I mention it was waaaaaaasy too long? Painfully long.
