À propos de cet audio

Over 225k+ words of enemies-to-lovers tension, alternate fantasy adventure, and bold action. This box set contains all four books in the Lochlann Treaty series, and never before seen exclusive bonus content.

Peace at any cost.

Princess Charlotte’s entire life had been planned.

Right up until the moment her fiancé is kidnapped on her wedding day, sending the entire kingdom hurtling toward disaster.

Charlie has never left the protective grounds of the castle, but to save her intended, she’ll trade her crown for a sword and forge into dangerous rebel lands alongside her fiancé’s arrogant older brother, Logan.

Logan thinks she’s a spoiled princess. She’s about to prove him wrong.

But each step deeper into the enemy’s world confirms nothing is what it seems. Not the love that was supposed to be easy. Not the allies she’s supposed to trust. Not even the outlaws she’s been raised to fear.

Faced with brutal truths and the looming threat of war, Charlie must find her inner strength to not only fight back, but to trust her heart—no matter where it leads.

From naïve princess to warrior queen, The Lochlann Treaty will keep you on the edge of your seat from beginning to end. A sweeping fantasy for fans of Red Queen, Outlander, and Throne of Glass.

Ce que les critiques en disent

"The Lochlann Treaty series. One of my favorite fantasies of the year. Mahle and Madison are an ace duo who created a world that I didn’t want to come back from. The only problem with this book is that it had to end." (M. Lynn, USA Today best-selling author)

Solidly OK

Book was solidly ok. I read the 2nd collection, Rowan, first, and it was much funnier with richer characters, had a better flow, and was very entertaining. The stories are formulaic but interesting enough for easy listening. This one was fine, and I plan to get the 3rd collection. I'm thinking the authors are only improving in their collaboration, so looking forward to 3.

Superb Narrator

I’m in love 💕. This series is one of the most perfect stories I’ve read in a while. I happily went in with low expectations for a light, fluffy read, and oh wow that’s not what this is. The story is deep and solid, and the character development is amazing. It’s well told, and even parts that you think might be predictable (as these things are) are not quite predictable in the ways you think they will be. I’m also officially an Olivia King stan- her narration is perfect.

The only drawback for me (which is why the narration lost 1 ⭐️) is that the last hour or so the story recounts certain parts of the story from a different character’s POV - fine. BUT they used a different narrator, whose voice was SO jarringly different from the main narrator that it truly took a lot of my enjoyment out of that part of the story. Olivia’s narration deserves bonus stars, but the second narrator was awful.

Loved it!

I only discovered Charlotte after listening to the complete Rowan series, and I loved it as much! Plus, I finally understood the backstories mentioned in Rowan haha. I nearly didn’t buy Charlotte because of the two negative comments but gosh I’m glad I didn’t listen to them! They probably just didn’t like the genre in general… Because if you’re craving a good enemies-to-lovers story, packed with adventures, than this one is per-fect! And the narrator is excellent :)

Not Worth the Credit

The story line has so much potential when you read the blurb but I wanted to return it barely an hour in, there are so many useless flashbacks that drag the story out. One or two sure fine but there's one or two in every chapter and every one just shows how the main characters were childhood friends over and over again. The Princess herself is also tedious always claiming everyone as my people, my soldiers, my land my my my but this is the first time she has left the castle and again its so repetitive is hard to keep listening to. The Narrators voice is lovely but its such a slow ambling pace with such a boring storyline. I can see the very very young YA crowd being ok with it and if you just want a superficial read but its so predictable and slow its not worth the credit. Its like hearing about a lovesick 13 yr old ramble on and on about their boyfriend, its not for readers expecting any kind of depth, you can pretty much guess that story line and what's about to happen from like chapter 10 onward. I will not be reading this author again myself but for younger readers just getting into stories maybe its a good fit, maybe.

Good for what it is

I didn't realize this was a YA series when I bought this book, but it definitely shows. It's a decent story with likeable enough characters, that I wanted to finish the story. However the villians were weak and their stories were not well told. It was more of a romance than an actual fantasy novel. Scenes changed so abrubtly that I often had to back up to figure out what was going on and who was talking. I won't be listening to anymore by this author
