From the author of the multimillion-copy bestselling thriller The Perfect Marriage

Till death do us part. Yours. Not Mine.

It’s been eleven years since high-powered attorney Sarah Morgan defended her husband, Adam, against the charge of murdering his mistress. Sarah has long since moved on, starting a family with her new husband, Bob Miller, and changing careers. Her life is back to being exactly how she always wanted … or is it?

After discovering Bob engaged in a one-night stand, Sarah wastes no time filing for divorce. However, amid their ugly separation, new DNA evidence is uncovered in the case against Adam, forcing the police to reopen the investigation and putting Sarah right back in the spotlight. Everyone wants to know what really happened, most of all former deputy Marcus Hudson, who is hell-bent on finding the truth.

But when the woman Bob slept with is reported missing, he and Sarah start to fight dirty, and a high-stakes game of cat and mouse ensues. Filled with thrilling suspense and Jeneva Rose’s signature twists and turns, this book will have listeners wondering, Can Bob and Sarah achieve the perfect divorce? Or will it be “till death do us part”?

I’ll definitely have to go back through and read this again because I think I missed some early clues to the ending. I didn’t find the end to The Perfect Divorce as surprising as the first in the series but I was entertained and couldn’t stop listening the whole way through! This duet was fantastic!

Holy cow!

So so good. Story was a perfect follow up to The Perfect Marriage. Narrators were not my favourite, but they weren’t bad. Loved the various POVs to get all entangled in the twists.

Ruthless and addicting!

This was a great second book to the perfect marriage. Everyone being so close and so well tied throughout. It kept me guessing throughout. There were some dry mundane spots in the middle but they were worth the wait!

Another Perfect Mystery!

Events are too quick and almost predictable, unlike the author's other books like "Geneva". Narrators were all great.

not as good as her other books

I flew through The Perfect Divorce—Jeneva Rose knows exactly how to hook you from the start and keep the tension building. Just when I thought I had things figured out, another twist hit and completely threw me off. So good!

I loved the mix of drama, suspense, and dark humor. The characters were super compelling (even when I wasn’t sure who I could trust), and the whole story had this addictive, binge-worthy feel. Honestly, it’s one of those books you can easily read in a day because you have to know what happens next.

If you’re into twisty domestic thrillers with strong women and a lot of secrets, add this to your list ASAP.

What a ride

What is up with all of these people drinking burning hot coffee? It's a bizarre narrative. And the hard alcohol burning as well? Did this get put through Chat GPT the increase word count?? Strange descriptions throughout, in fact.

Too many characters with almost always the same voice. Narration is not the best. Also story seems to be sometimes in the past and in the future at the same time. Not for me…. I listened 2 hours and still I couldn’t get about really what was the story.

So bad

The book felt promising and the narration is great, so I kept listening, but ultimately the book was medicore at best and the story was just bad. Obvious ending, terrible character development, no suspense, and random subplots with weak plot development. Also it had a "cops are the good guys" energy that was forced and ignorant of our sociopolitical climate (while also being confusing because the entire novel is an exercise in fooling cops). Do not recommend this book at all, regret getting it .

Wish I returned it
