As their dangerous situation escalates, the two women are forced to make a terrible decision that will bind them together for the rest of their lives.

Historical Fiction at its Best
The story fascinated me as history was revealed through the interesting characters. The plot flowed through the narrative and provided a satisfying ending without being overcome by cloying romance. I loved the book for its ability to entertain and educate.
