Incredible narration for an interesting story
The storyline was somewhat slow to get into, but once the background set up was established, the book was thrilling and difficult to walk away from. The narration was spectacular. She used multiple different dialects, accents and tones to differentiate between the characters so well it seriously sounded like multiple narrators.
Very enjoyable story about code breaking during the war, with vivid descriptions of the innocent victims’ circumstances.

Compelling story; writing/narration slightly off
Brits, please look past the slightly awkward dialectal errors and odd pronunciations. The overall story is worth it. This author's main problem is that she tries to write in colloquial British English but without quite understanding the nuances between American and British English. It would be easier to overlook if the narrator didn't suffer from a similar problem. The mispronunciations can be glaring (zee instead of zed, KesWick instead of Kes'ick, pr-eye-vacy instead of privv-acy, etc, etc) but her accents are consistent and clear, even if ever so slightly off, so it's easy to look past. I did really enjoy this book though, and devoured it all over a weekend. 4/5 would recommend ****

phenomenal story and storytelling
Fantastic portrayal of a time in history so many of us find hard to imagine in our current circumstances of modern society. Loved the writing and research, narrator was brilliant. Listen!!

Great read
It took me a while to really get into this book but once I did I had a hard time stopping it. The characters are well developed and the narrator did a great job distinguishing between the 3 main female. This is my first Kate Quinn novel and I'm sure it wont be the last.

Brilliant
A bit of slow start but so good! Loved ‘Alice Network’ didn’t like ‘The Huntress’ so pleased that ‘The Rose Code’ lived up to the author’s talent. Bletchley Park is an amazing site for a historical novel. Recommend it for sure!
