Ah adult humour in children's books
I loved this book series when I was younger so when I came across it on here I thought might as well get it see if it's as good as I remember which have to say it is. but now I know adult humour so the waffles can be blue line near the start of chapter 1 really made me chuckle.

Engaging Story and Performance
Enjoyed this book as much as the Lightning Thief. The narrator is consistent and easy to listen to. The story is engaging. Enjoyed it with my 7 and 10 yr old sons and occasionally joined by the 13 yo who read the books herself a few years ago.
