Awe-inspiring storytelling
The Stone Sky brings the Broken Earth series to a close with the raw power of an earth shattering earthquake. Never letting the incredible pace slow, N.K. Jemisin weaves a journey through the discovery of so much, uncovering the history of her world piece by piece so that in the end we are left to marvel at its masterpiece.
I was enraptured from the start, Robin Miles produces another amazing performance, giving life to every character in the book. An ending to a trilogy that gives all you could hope it would offer and more. This book is a masterwork in world building and story telling, an adventure of a lifetime.

Jemisin fan convert!
this was a truly great trilogy with both epic magic and heart wrenching emotional journies. Narrator was quite good as well. there were half a dozen or so glitches in the recording where there were repeats which is sloppy editing by the publisher.

as great as the first
this was another great one to listen to. interesting conclusion as it's really not that concluded. also there's so many questions about this world still left unanswered. I found the entire series fascinating but confusing. I can't tell if this is supposed to take place on a planet like ours and it distant future or if this is some other world entirely nor did I understand how all of the factions of people relate. there's a lot of backstory that I feel like I'm missing from the series or maybe that I just didn't catch on to buy I enjoyed it.
