Slow start, riveting finish
Loved the story, but the narrating wasn't as I had hoped. Most of her other books are narrated by women, so it was difficult getting into this with a male narrater. Once I got used to it, I enjoyed the story and the background on Will and Angie's relationship as I've listened to these a bit out of order.

Each chapter leaves you wanting more
I like her description of each character. There’s a little wry humour thrown in to break up the horrible things that people do to each other. Keep up the good work

Pretty good
I must say in the beginning I was a bit taken back because I am use to a female narrator for Karin slaughter book but I got use to it and it was good!!

This is the Start of A New Relationship!
I was not thrilled with the narrator, however, I loved the characters and the story. I could hardly wait until my work day came to an end so that I could continue to listen to this audio book. I already have the next two Will Trent books downloaded and ready to go!

Great introduction into the world of Will Trent
I’ve been reading the Karin Slaughter books (Grant County/Will Trent) in order, so a male narrator took a bit to get used to; however, he was much better than the previous two.
The weaving back and forth between past and present story lines took a bit to get used to. Especially when several chapters in a row focused on the past and you start to question if it’s a Will Trent novel, but it all came together.

Thoroughly enjoyed this Slaughter book!
I had not listened to a Karin Slaughter book narrated by Michael Kramer before and I was a little indifferent at the beginning. I soon found myself addicted to the story and Michael's voice! Story line was riveting and in true Karin Slaughter style, I was hooked by 3 mins in. Excellent choice!
