I had a feeling I needed this book
I’m not normally one for audiobooks but since this wasn’t available at my local bookstore I decided to give it a try… I knew right away that this was something I was going to enjoy from the first little anecdote… And to most of the points she was making it really hit home for me. The swearing is a little awkward but most of the time it just makes me laugh, and genuinely parts of this book made me say “hell yeah!” And/ or “amen” like somebody finally said and acknowledged what I’ve been feeling all along !

she helped me look at things in a different way helping me get unstuck from thinking in many ways looking forward to more books from her and the foul language resonates in me its how I communicate not for everyone helpful for me

Helps me desensitise
I usually get scared when I hear swearing because I feel like someone’s mad at me. But listening to this helped me reduce my sensitivity to swearing because they are incorporated into helpful lessons about powerful feelings and validation and reassurance.

Crappy Audio
Book was okay but the woman's voice is annoying and there is a lot of swearing. Also the audio was the pits 👎

On the fence..
The psychology was interesting and the lax and candid way the author discusses the concepts in lay-terms with colourful curse words was a comfortable way to understand the fuckery in one's head, but the quality of the audiobook could benefit from a re-do. The audio was echo-y, I often heard the reader's lips smack, pages shuffling, something else moving around in the room she was recording in.

Good info, but too much swearing
I found the info very good and helpful, however I found the constant use of swear words quite distracting. I understand that the goal is to keep people engaged and do something different, but I think it was slightly too frequent. I think if you cut some of it out it would be a lot better (sometimes the swearing sounded forced)

Good book
The information was good. The editing was terrible. I have had better sounding phone calls. Get past that, and the book is full of human level information. It’s actually quite good.
If you don’t like swearing this is not your book. However I’m sure you can pick that up from the title!

Great info
Great info and a very good listen, however, the recording quality is sub par as well as the narration it's self. I would still recommend this book though audiophiles and easily distracted listeners such as my self might not enjoy the background noise and grainy quality of the recording.

Inspiring, funny, explains intricate concepts in a simple easy method.

Wow!
A friend told me to read this book and I’m glad she did. I’m not a big reader but this had me thinking, laughing and learning different strategies when dealing with certain situations. Highly recommend.
