This author can do no wrong!
At this point this author has earned enough good will from me that as soon as i learned this book existed i picked it up without so much as glancing at the plot and sure enough i was not disappointed. The usual sense of humor is present here and there are enough twists and turns to keep this book very hard to put down. As with the other books from this author i highly recommend it to anyone looking for an easy read full of comedy and action.

Excellent
Loved this book. Not quite as funny as Mogworld, but certainly has its moments that make it worth a listen, and being a bit shorter makes it a lot easier to finish over a day if you start in the morning. overall enjoyed thoroughly and I feel this story could even have some sequel material.
started to notice Yahtzee seems to have a set of characters that seeming to be recurring, smart ass protagonist, ultra nice female, overzealous guy. curious to see if that'll be a running theme, as I couldn't help myself and blurted "Hello Merryl" the moment I heard that voice come out.

So Good!
I liked a lot of this but that ending left me wanting a lot more! I thought it was pretty abrupt but I did really like listening to, and reading, this book. If you're looking for some good satirical Science Fiction, this is for you!

Well done and fun
Honestly it's a pretty good Syfy romp overall.
Yahtzee does a great job narrating and the story has some genuine gut busting laughs.
But the main character is such a gigantic cuck of a man I had a hard time getting through early sections of the book. This is a personal preference, the mc isn't objectively bad and his personality serves the more comedy aspects of the story. He's just not the kind of individual I enjoy fallowing around for 9 hours.
Still gave this book a 4.5 because I'm sure most people won't have the misgivings with the mc that I did.

Overall Fantastic
As a person who admittedly doesn't like many books, I blazed through this one, hardly wanted to stop for a minute! The story was spellbinding, very interesting from start to finish. The narration was a tiny bit shakey in spots but it didn't detract from the experience.

Just like Douglas Adams
this was such a fun book and reminds me a lot of Douglas Adams. well worth a listen - the narrator (author) really brings the book to life.
