    Ep. 88 Yusef Fitzgerald. Today on the Agee & Gates Podcast, Atlanta native Yusef Fitzgerald, Athletic Director and Coach at the historic, college prep school, Piney Woods. The Piney Woods School was founded in 1909 in rural Mississippi by Dr. Laurence C. Jones as an all black boarding school with the mission to educate and prepare students for leadership positions. Yusef was a stand-out high school player at Piney Woods where his team went 72-10 and won back-to-back state championships during his high school career. He went on to play college ball at Tougaloo before starting his coaching career. Yusef coached at the prestigious IMG Academy, at the high school and AAU level in Chicago and served as Director of Operations at Iona University before returning to coach at The Piney Woods School.     Former University of Kentucky and Connecticut basketball player Batouly Camara joins Will Gates and Arthur Agee on this week's episode. The New York City native made three Final Four appearances with the Huskies and then went on to play pro basketball in Spain. Camara played high school ball at Blair Academy and was ranked as the ninth best player in the country by ESPN.com. She competed for the Guinean national team and participated in the 2021 FIBA Afrobasket. Batouly founded the non-profit Women and Kids Entertainment (W.A.K.E.) with the mission to equip and empower young girls through sport, education and social entrepreneurship. Don't miss this incredible basketball story as Batouly talks about growing up in a very large Guinean American family where she has over 70 aunts and uncles and how she is pushing to grow the basketball community in Guinea.
