  • Vineyard Pastor and False Prophet: My Warning about Micah Turnbo
    May 4 2025

Micah Turnbo, as of 5/3/2025 is a pastor/seer/prophet at Vineyard Northwest in Ohio. He teaches many people through online ministry and has more visions and supernatural experiences than anyone in the Bible, it seems. I'll share evidence that he is a false prophet, deceiver, and shares obviously false experiences and even teaches some things that contradict the Bible.

Why do this? Because we are commanded to test all things. When someone has millions of eyes and ears on their prophecies and visions it's important that they be subjected to public testing.

  • Do I have my own "private prayer language"? 10 Qs with Mike Winger (Ep 50)
    May 2 2025

Question Time Stamps for Quick Reference:

    1. 1:48 {Do All Christians Have the Gift of Tongues?} Do Christians all have access to a “private prayer language” (speaking in tongues) according to Scripture?
    2. 11:31 {A Judgment for Widows?} What is the judgment put on widows in 1 Timothy 5:12, and how do we know we can change course without judgment? Does it apply to keeping an unchanging devotion time with God? My goals can get legalistic.
    3. 22:05 {Slaves or Brothers?} Why in Scripture are we told we are the slaves of Christ, as well as the brothers of Christ?
    4. 24:57 {Shame and Pride Related?} Is the feeling of shame the byproduct of pride?
    5. 28:07 {Permissible Doubts vs. Double-mindedness} Can you explain the difference between the man in Mark 9:24 and the double-minded man talked about in James 1:5-8? I find myself relating to the former a lot, but I also fear being double-minded.
    6. 37:36 {Choosing a Denomination: Important?} Do you think it's important to choose a denomination? I have people pressuring me to choose one, but I don't feel ready to do that (I'm new) and I’m wondering if it's important at all.
    7. 42:52 {Is Progressive Sanctification Biblical?} While I know sanctification is real and biblical, if we are dead to sin after salvation as mentioned in Romans 7, why do we need progressive sanctification?
    8. 55:34 {Witnessing to an LGBTQ+ Family Member} My aunt is gay but claims to be a Christian. I have never talked with her about this, but I feel I am doing her a disservice by not lovingly sharing the truth with her. How can I go about this?
    9. 1:00:37 {Tourism or Idolatry?} I’m planning a trip to Japan and would like to visit some of the shrines for the tourism aspect, but I don’t want to sin against God or put my family at risk of demonic exposure. Is this acceptable?
    10. 1:07:01 {Believing & Receiving Biblically} How do I pray for something and believe I’ve received it (Mark 11:24) such as healing or peace, if I don't know how God is using the illness or anxiety in my life or someone else's life?

I'm taking questions from the live chat...here are the rules:

I do this live stream most Fridays at 1 p.m. Pacific Time. You're welcome to join.
To ask a question, you'll need to follow these instructions:
    1. Don't post your question before you see me live on camera.
    2. Post questions as comments in the LIVE chat at the beginning of the stream.
    3. Post your question with "Q" at the beginning so we can easily identify that you are sending it in as a question for me and not just a comment in the chat.
    4. Try to be as clear as possible so I won't misunderstand the question. Keep in mind that I don't know anything about your question other than what you type in that short comment.
    5. Include specific verse references when possible or applicable.
    6. Only one question submitted per subscriber, per stream, please. Submitting the same question into the chat a few times is OK.
    7. Please understand that we don't strictly take the first 10 questions submitted. Our team takes several factors into consideration.
    8. You can also check the "Clip Search" on BibleThinker.org in advance to see if your topic of interest has already been covered in a past session. I try not to answer the same questions over and over, so you may find what you need there.

  • Taking Scripture Back From Your Spiritual Abuser: Naomi Wright
    Apr 18 2025

Naomi was raised in a pseudo-Christian cult. She was subjected to all manner of spiritual abuse and manipulation, from leaders who used Scripture out of context to control, shame, and terrify her. After doing the unspeakably difficult work of overcoming this abuse, escaping the cult, and learning that the Bible never truly supported such things, she now helps others to disentangle Christianity and Scripture from the spiritual abusers who have misused them.

    • beEmboldened.com - I have been sending people to Naomi for help to recover from spiritual abuse. The reports I've so far received back have been extremely positive. People are getting the help they need. Click here for their website.
