  • BMVT : Venting With Nathaniel & Nigel Hicks ✌🏽
    Jun 24 2024
Good Morning Nashville ☀️ Beginning of the week! Excited to drop a new episode from your favorite, and ONLY black father and son podcast in Tennessee. We got a great guest duo on the show today so sit back, unwind, and enjoy today’s episode. Let’s lock in! 🔒 We are a few days behind Fathers Day, but wanted to still get out this great story between these two men. Our relationship with these brothers began in church, and has been strong both inside and outside church doors. A young man by the name of Nathaniel Hicks, a New York native, moved to Nashville and began his family. Then his son, Nigel Hicks, a young man who vents heavily about his fathers impact, his journey from childhood to adulthood, and how adversity in his solidarity season of life built him to the man he is today. Both men take the time to not only vent about their own individual mental health struggles, but they take the time to appreciate each other in the episode as well. Another week, another great episode, take some time to listen to a black man vent today. 🙏🏽 “Have You Heard A Black Man Vent Today?”™️ Listening on Apple Podcast & Spotify today? Good Morning Nashville ☀️ We tell you all the time that you NEVER KNOW what the Black Men Vent Too guys are up to next. Just a few days ago, we were blessed with the opportunity to be commentators at the one and only Fat Boys Basketball League here in Nashville, Tennessee. 🏀 The Fat Boys Basketball League was made up by a group of men, for a bigger group of men. Everything is aimed towards getting guys in shape and back active with an undertone of brotherhood and competitive fellowship. We had such a great time with these guys and not only were we commentators at the event, but we even got a chance to implement our newest project called the BMVT "Two-Minute Interviews", where we go around the city and, in small, have a podcast episode with them by asking engaging questions surrounding mental health. 🧠 Check out interviews from the following players/representatives: George Stanberry, Big Doug, Mack, DJ Trap, Jimmie Woodruff (referee), Charles Hassell, & "Chester Cheetos". ⭐️ EPISODE OUT NOW ON YOUTUBE 📺 #BMVTtv Thank you for tuning in to another episode of the Black Men Vent Too Podcast ✌🏽 “Have You Heard A Black Man Vent Today?”™️ BMVT Ad Break Breski Berry Bliss 🍓 “Fathers Day Special” For more info, visit the Instagram (@breskii._berrybliss) Kenny Clack “Boys II Men” Mentoring Program 💯 June 10th, 6-8p Mt.
